Steadvale Air Systems Ltd has now been manufacturing and reconditioning compressor valves for the Air, Gas, Maritime and Refrigeration process for the last 20 years. During this period our company, experience and reputation has grown in this field to the position that we are considered to be one of the UK's leading valve manufacturers.

With our design capabilities along with our in-house CNC Milling and Turning centres we are able to produce a wide and varied scope of valves.

Valve Manufacturing
At our head office in Scotland we manufacture all our seats & guards from CNC maching centres. With this in-house machining capability it allows SAS to offer the clients with precision-machined parts to the highest quality along with flexibility to reverse engineer and design for SAS replacement parts.

Valve Reconditioning
A well maintained compressor valve will allow the machine to deliver Air in and out of the cylinders during the compression process efficiently and with minimum resistance. Planned and well maintained valves will reduce the associated costs with compressor downtime and loss of production.

Each valve that is overhauled is stripped down to seat & guard then hard stamped with your unique ID number.

Seats, guards and cushion plates are chemically cleaned, then shot blasted. Valve plates, coil or spring plates are always replaced with new. Seat is then re-machined back to OEM specification.

After reassembling the valves they are pneumatically air tested to ensure the valves meet with our in-house Quality Procedure.
